Jeanie driving the new car & on our way to Maastricht to check out baby shops. Found a good spot www.babyplanet.nl, but didn´t get the cot. Instead bought a bunch of knick-knacks and cute stuff. We´ll never learn.

The day Jeanie got her results – a first! I think she was too nervous to call but Dee sent her a text. Came joint third in the class!
Watching the russia game in O’Reilly’s. Great pub in the centre of Düsseldorf. The place was jammed with Scots all week, in the area for the Germany game.
Helen and marc back from honeymoon in Mauritius. And what did they bring me back? A bottle of Mauritian Guinness which you can see on the table – around 8% and made of millet or something? I can only assume they brew this thing under some ancient franchise that didn´t really care about brand, consistency, flavour. Just as long as it´s black, OK?
Jean in the car dropping me back to the airport. Had a good weekend in Dublin – did a crash course antenatal course on saturday. Easier than doing it in German back in Düsseldorf!
What a great day here & i have been stuck in the office all day. Of course i am afraid to move in this heat. The tram ride home should be a laugh – like travelling in a mobile oven!
