We are currently living about 4km from Duesseldorf city centre but planning to get an apartment in the centre. So we can spend more time promenading on the Rhein with all the swank types! It really is a breautiful terrace here and well worth a visit.

Hmm, what’s on the menu today? “Yeast Dumplings” according to the translation – alien space eggs more like. This is a main course in the canteen today (note canteen not restaurant!). Custard and cherries over a large jam doughnut – a Southern German delicacy aparently.
Helen asked me to go to the restaurant where they got engaged. Maxim something i seem to recall. Hope this is it. Marc is such a big spender!
Last beer, coffee, milk stop in brugge. Been really nice here but must get on the road back as the journey here was pretty long and tiring. Got to find an open supermarket to stock up on this great belgian beer!
