We were waiting for the Leeds train to pass under the bridge on the stray. Got a wave from the driver which was “awesome”.

As witnessed by Sophie and myself. This was from about July last year but I’ve just found it as a draft post while fixing up the blog.
As you can see I’ve also fixed the orientation of all the iPhone pictures!
Policeman, pippi longstocking, not sure, and Alice in wonderland (under the raincoat). The kids get dressed as their favourite book characters for school. Happy days!
