We visited Newby Hall at the weekend with Amber, Phil and family. Wonderful place. Didn’t even see the “hall”, but the kids adventure area has a great mini train/giant trainset (depending on your perspective). Worth going to see.
Angela O’Neill paid us a visit, in preparation for forthcoming grannyhood. Ronan – the kids gave her a test run and we can confirm that she is absolutely ready for February 2010. Thanks for coming Angela, it was really nice having you to visit. I’m obviously going native, because when Angela handed over a bag and said she’d brought pudding I immediately thought of a nice sweet treat after dinner! Opened the freezer bag to find a fine pair of Clonakilty Black and White puddings, and thought I’m a long time away from home!
